This is my first 5 gallon barrel, but 3rd overall from this company. The craftsmanship is once again spot-on. The barrel is a custom made to order French Oak 5 gallon. The order was made, shipped, and arrived about 2 weeks ahead of when I expected. I originally made a mistake on my order and requested a char level above what I wanted. Chris came through big and was able to fix my order and get me exactly what I wanted. I will not be shopping anywhere else for my barrel needs.

The 5 gallon white oak barrel was just filled. I’ll let you know in a few years how it turns out. Bought a chestnut 1.8 gallon a few months ago. I think I like it better than the white oak barrel. The flavor is much more subtle and sweet. The quality and lead time is great. I will be buying more as I need them.
