Aged for 48 months in Missouri, our 1.8-gallon American White Oak Barrel, crafted in Eugene, Oregon, is designed to replicate the surface area of a full 53-gallon barrel for premium spirit aging.

Toast and Char Levels Suggestions:
Light Toast, Char 2:
- Light Rum: Adds mild complexity

Medium Toast, Char 2:
- Bourbon & Rye Whiskey: Adds balanced caramel and vanilla with floral notes

I messed up doing my cuts and allowed heads in the final product. So much so that you couldn’t make yourself want to drink it. Instead of re-running it I decided to barrel it in my Infinity barrel from bad motivator barrels. After four months, it actually started to get better. After eight months, it was actually drinkable. After a year and a half it was unbelievably complex and enjoyable. no need to rerun it. It simply didn’t last that long. lol
I have three of those barrel and they are just perfect.

Excellent quality here, this was my second barrel and I’ll be ordering several more in the coming years. Fit and finish is well done and zero leaks. I did sit it upright and placed water on the top overnight as opposed to filling it like the instructions suggest, didn’t want to lose any of the oak goodness inside, zero leaks with that method.
