Crafted from 120-month yard seasoned Oregon White Oak, this barrel showcases the exceptional quality and unique character of this local hardwood. Carefully sourced and expertly fitted, this barrel offers a distinct flavor profile that complements a wide range of spirits. Its tight grain and natural tannins contribute to a harmonious maturation process, allowing the spirit to develop complexity and depth over time. With a well-balanced oak influence, this Oregon White Oak barrel is ideal for aging whisk(e)ys, bourbons, brandies, and other premium spirits, imparting subtle nuances of allspice and heavy vanillin.
Additionally, the barrel comes with two bungs: the one used during the testing of this particular head, and an extra spare bung.

I have not put the new barrel to use yet, but if it is like it's four sisters that I already have filled, it will be impeccable. The service was excellent and shipping was speedy.
Of all my BadMo barrels, the 2 Oregon Oak are the two I am most excited about, as the contents are all made from PNW ingredients. The ultimate in northwest terroir. Skagit Valley grown ingredients aged in Oregon grown Garriana Oak.
